Better CV through Volunteering

How can volunteering help you build a stronger CV and stand out in the job market?

Join us for Better CV through Volunteering — a 60-minute interactive workshop series taking place on 6 October 2026, online. The workshop runs five times throughout the day, each session welcoming a different group of UNWE students, so that as many of you as possible can take part.

Together with Fernanda Maria Barros Correia and Maria Inês Ferreira from the Talent & Career Centre at U.Porto, we will explore how volunteering can help you develop valuable soft skills, expand your professional network, and gain a competitive advantage in your future career.

Through practical activities and discussion, you will discover how to recognise and communicate the skills you gain through volunteering — and how to turn your experience into an asset for your CV.
